Weather Conditions

In September, Croatia experiences mild to warm temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C during the day. Nights can be cooler, sometimes dropping to 10°C or lower, so bringing a warm sleeping bag and extra layers is recommended. Rain is possible, with occasional short showers, so a waterproof tent, rain gear, and sturdy shoes are advisable.

The venue is situated on the Dalmatian coast, so please check the local weather conditions before deciding to camp or hike.

Notable characteristics:

• The venue is close to the Karin Sea making swimming an option. The water is quite warm in September, the beaches are sandy, pebbly & there is a an area with healing/mineral mud nearby. Wearing swimming costumes is customary, although there might be a nudist beach somewhere in the area.

• Nearby there are several rivers for swimming or even rafting: Karišnica, Bijela & Zrmanja

• Please be careful during the hottest part of the day: there is a danger of sun-stroke / dehydration. Wearing protective clothing, applying sun-cream, staying in shade and drinking enough water is advisable.

• Since you will be spending time outdoors, be prepared to deal with insects: flies, mosquitos, ticks, spiders & even small scorpions

• If you will go hiking, be aware that there are venomous snakes in the area
