Hosting
Zoobab is organising the event at his parent's place, which offers a large area (50 ares) where you can put your tent, with electricity, an ethernet cable, and showers and toilets facilities.
The house also offers enough indoor place to sleep (bring your floor matelas and sleeping bag).

- Florenville has a train station (Brussels-Florenville takes 2 hours) (Take the Line Brussels-Luxembourg, change at Libramont, and take the small train to Florenville-Virton, there is only one every 2 hours)
- There is also a possibility to go to Marbehan, which has a frequency of a train every hour, and ask for car pickking up in advance with your time of arrival.
- There is also another possibility to go to the french station of Sedan (40km away), and ask for car pickking up a week in advance.

- From Brussels: distance is 180 km, trip time of ~1h40,take the motorway E411, direction Arlon; at junction n°26, take direction Neufchâteau, and then Florenville.

Plane
Florenville does not have an airport, the closest one is the one of Luxembourg.
Goal
- Install a mesh testbed of 30 nodes (fonera based) (zoobab owns 10 of them)
- Benefit from the experience acquired during previous battles
- longshots: Florenville-Arlon Longshot 36,5km (10 Apr 2003 18:45) - Longshot between Florenville (Waveguide 32slots placed on the church tower) and Arlon (Yagi of XavierVL). Distance 36,5km. Data transfert of 50ko/sec during 5 minutes but we didn't succeed to do the same after, we were quite disapointing... We think that the fresnel zone was not so good to realize a good link. Beer
The abbaye of Orval is at 6km from the main city of Florenville, and produces one of the best trappist beer of Belgium, and of the world, since there are few trappists.
Maginot
The Maginot Line was a defense line of France built in the 1930ies between the World War I and World War II. It was easily defeated by the powerful German army at the beginning of the World War II.
It can provide high points with good line of sight for longshots and other wifi and antenna tests.
